The Kópavogur Puffins cricket club in Iceland began with friendship, a shared belief and a journey before the badge even existed. Today, the Puffins are eleven-time domestic champions—and Indian Food Box is proud to have supported the people, the shirts, the meals and the memories behind that success.
A journey became a cricket family.
The roots of the Puffins story reach back to a pioneering cricket journey in 2014. Friendships grew, the belief became stronger, and in 2015 Abhishek Chauhan formally founded Kópavogur Puffins. The club won the Volcanic Ashes in its very first season.
That early victory mattered, but it did not define the whole dream. The real ambition was to build a team where newcomers felt welcome, experienced players raised standards and people from many cultures could represent Kópavogur together. The badge became a meeting point—a place to compete seriously without losing the joy that brought everyone to cricket.

The Puffins’ honours were not created by one lucky season. They were earned across formats, squads and generations—from the first Volcanic Ashes victory in 2015 to the club’s eleventh major title in 2025.
