Finding halal food in Iceland can sometimes feel difficult, especially for travelers, students, families, and first-time visitors exploring the country. At Indian Food Box, we understand how important it is for people to feel comfortable and welcomed while dining away from home.
We proudly serve halal food at both Indian Food Box locations in Iceland. Our goal has always been simple — to create a welcoming place where people from different cultures, religions, and backgrounds can enjoy authentic Indian food comfortably.
Whether you are visiting Iceland as a tourist, studying here, working here, or living here long-term, we want you to feel at home while dining with us.
Indian Food Box currently serves customers from two locations in Iceland:
We are proud to offer halal Indian food options in both restaurants while also serving vegetarian and vegan dishes.
Since we work with fresh preparation and quality control, our halal portions are sometimes limited during busy hours.
Normally, we comfortably prepare around 10 halal portions at a time for regular daily operations.
However, if you are planning for a larger group, family gathering, tour group, event, or special occasion, please give us a call in advance. We are happy to prepare halal food arrangements for larger groups whenever possible.
At Indian Food Box, we believe food brings people together. Iceland is home to people from many cultures, countries, and religions, and we deeply respect everyone who walks through our doors.
Our aim is not only to serve food, but to create a warm and welcoming experience where guests can comfortably enjoy authentic Indian flavors while exploring Iceland.
Whether you are looking for halal food, vegetarian dishes, spicy curries, comforting biryani, or simply a taste of home, we are always happy to welcome you.
